No, HD DVD hasn't come back from the dead. But, smarting from its loss to Blu-ray, its chief advocate Toshiba has regrouped and launched a comeback bid with a new, rival format: DVD Download DL. Basically old-school DVD upscaled plus new-fangled, Blu-ray-style internet connectivity, for which the Toshiba-led DVD Forum recently approved the below logo...
